The fact that we are now using HD cameras, rather than normal cameras has increased the amount of creativity and variability we have whilst constructing different shots and effects. one of the main differences obviously is the extremely better quality of footage, this allows far more detail to a performance piece possibly, allowing the person performing to express more emotions threw the better quality of footage, which would be very appropriate since our idea involves a performance cutting with a narrative.
Also being able to use the effect of pull back focus an be used to very good effect in many situations to connote meaning, such as sadness and depression, which is what we would use it for and lonliness, this will come in very handy during our narrative, since our narrative will be about someones ex partner dieing, this will definately be something that we will implament into our final music video.
These features will give our music video far more depth and meaning than our film opening that we created for A'S hopefully allowing us to gain more marks for our filming part of the course.
